Terms & important information for the photo shoot

This is a description of the service you are ordering. If you book a photo shoot with tinderfotograf.no, you accept that you understand what you have ordered and that you agree with these terms.

1. Pictures to be delivered and price

The number of images delivered in high quality is based on the package you order. At the bottom of tinderfotograf.no, you will find how many photos you get delivered in the various packages and how much they cost. What is written on the website and in these terms at the time you order is what applies.


The client owns the photos we deliver. The client can permit us to use their photos for marketing purposes, but this is optional and will be requested in writing.



2. Our main goal is not for their client to like their photos

In a typical portrait photoshoot that you might be used to, the focus is on the client’s photo preferences. We do it differently. Our goal is to help you achieve the best possible results on dating apps. Therefore, we base our recommendations on what statistically works best, even if it might differ from your personal preferences.

This is a critical distinction because clients often select less optimal photos when they choose their pictures for dating apps. In other words, there is frequently a gap between their taste and others’ tastes. We consciously prioritize others’ tastes over the clients’. Because of this, tinderfotograf.no typically selects the photos for testing, not the client.

If a client wants to complain about their photos
If you have concerns after receiving the photos, we can offer a brief consultation to discuss them, but our focus will still be on results from dating apps over personal taste.

3. Image testing

Photos are tested on the platform Photofeeler.com. By using our service, you also accept their terms. We take your privacy seriously. The photos will only be used to improve your results on dating apps and will not be shared with third parties outside of Photofeeler without your explicit consent. Each photo that is tested receives 20 votes. If you do not want the photos to be tested there, you must notify us by email at chris@tinderfotograf.no before the photoshoot.

3. 1. Selection of images for testing

Normally, tinderfotograf.no select all the photos for testing. This is the standard procedure and something we do automatically unless otherwise requested.

If you prefer:

  • To select all the photos for testing yourself

  • To choose half of the photos for testing yourself and let the photographer choose the other half

  • No testing

You must inform us of this before the photoshoot by email at chris@tinderfotograf.no. Remember, if you want to select photos for testing yourself, you must choose the photos from thumbnails (see point 4).

4. Thumbnails

You will be sent a folder with thumbnail images of the raw files that can be used to select images for testing, or if you wish to order additional images. These thumbnails are low quality and 538 x 800 pixels in size. These are only intended to give the user the ability to select images based on a rough impression, and these thumbnails cannot be used for anything other than selecting images. In some cases, it can be a little difficult to see small differences in facial expressions in these pictures. Some of the images may also be a little dark because it is common to under-expose the raw images a little in portrait photography. Here is an example of the size and quality of such a thumbnail:

6. Photography mainly takes place outdoors

If there’s a bad weather forecast, you can contact the photographer to move the shoot to another day.

Please remember to arrive on time, as the time we have available for the shoot may be limited if the photographer has another appointment afterward. If you arrive late, there is a high chance that your photoshoot will be correspondingly shorter than what is stated in the package you ordered.

7. Accessibility

There is usually a lot of walking on photo shoots. You must ensure that you are able to carry the clothes you need during the shoot. I recommend you consider rolling luggage and bring a water bottle. Bringing an assistant or friend with you to help you carry clothes or help with a wheelchair or similar is always fine and does not have to be agreed upon in advance.

8. Time until delivery

If you need the photos by a specific date, please inform us as early as possible. If you want to be the one to choose the photos for testing, you will normally receive the thumbnails either the same day or the first day after the shoot. After the photoshoot, it normally takes 2 weeks before the edited images are delivered. At times with a lot of demand, it may sometimes take a little longer before the pictures are ready.


9. The images that are delivered after testing

When the results are in, it is often the case that several similar photos in the same outfit and location score very similarly. The photographer will then select only the best image for each outfit/location/type of photo for delivery, based on the scores. This is done to ensure that you get a more complete profile with a greater variety of outfits, poses, and locations.


10. Payment and cancellation

The customer pays when the photo shoot is ordered. We take payment in advance because it means that we have to set aside time for you. If this time slot is not used, we lose potential bookings from others who may want a photo shoot at the same time.

Payment can be made via invoice or Vipps. Let us know if you want a receipt for the purchase. Customers can get a full refund if they cancel within 7 days before the photo shoot starts, or within 24 hours from the time they booked - if they booked at least 48 hours before the photo shoot starts.

If you want personal shopping, we recommend booking at least a week in advance. It is allowed to reschedule the photoshoot to another day due to rain, snow, or dark and heavy cloud cover, but clients must request this at least 3 hours before the photoshoot starts.
